Mix Media Art - Lord Buddha Painting Tutorial


"You will not be punished for your anger, you will be punished by your anger." - Gautama Buddha. One of the best quote by Buddha inspired me to make this lovely art. I am sharing my experience and some tips so new artists can replicate this lovely Buddha Painting easily.


Today I finished my new mix media project of "Lord Buddha". It's called as mix media art project because we use multiple mediums to prepare it. I have mentioned the list of stuff I used for this art, once you read it you will understand why its called as "Mix Media project".

Working on mix media painting is fun, you have no barriers and you can really use anything which you like to make your painting more alive. If you are new artist then you must learn this technique. Making lord Buddha painting with this technique is very easy and thus good to start. In mix media there are too complex art projects which we can learn later.

Things you need

  1. Camel Acrylic paints 
  2. Fabric Rings for head 
  3. Rudraksha necklace or any other wooden style necklace 
  4. One more colorful necklace 
  5. Fevicol 
  6. 12x16 size canvas board 
  7. Earnings for Buddha's ear lobes.
